Two vehicular incidents have snarled traffic on the Coquihalla Highway around Merritt, B.C.
As of 6:45 p.m. PT, the highway was closed southbound nine kilometres north of Merritt due to an accident.There is a detour available for the closure north of Merritt via Highway 97D to Highway 97C.
The highway is also closed northbound between Hope and Merritt because of a collision at Exit 238. There is no detour available at the accident south of Merritt, although an alternate route is available via Highway 1 and 8.
