Juno-nominated band Rumba Clazada is hitting the stage to perform original and classic Latin music at the CBC Musical Nooners on Friday, July 20.
The band has been combining Latin jazz, salsa and Afro-Cuban music since 1991. Band leader Raphael Geronimo says there is always a “give and take” of energy between the band and audience while performing.
CBC Musical Nooners are free, live music concerts that happen every weekday on the CBC Vancouver outdoor stage at 700 Hamilton St., starting at noon and ending at 1 p.m.
Over the years, Rumba Calzada has gained recognition at a number of different events.
