The search for an elderly Vancouver Island woman, missing since July 5, has intensified with Cowichan Search and Rescue and RCMP joining in.
Gladys Barman, 82, was last seen at a Petro Canada on West Saanich Road in Saanich, pumping gas into her 2002 green Honda Accord with B.C. licence plate 940 RGA.
And new information suggests Barman may have been seen later that day in her car on Stoney Hill Road in nearby Duncan around 1:15 p.m. PT, looking for a gas station, police say.
