It’s not even officially summer yet, but British Columbia is getting a taste of what’s expected to be a hot, dry season ahead.
“This is the dry run, the dress rehearsal of what we think the summer will be. I guess it’s a matter of getting used to it.” says David Philips, senior climatogist at Environment Canada.
Philips says that after a cool start to June, a pattern of warm, dry weather is expected to settle in for much of the summer.
